Unpack Joy at a glance
Poverty mars childhood. It keeps children bereft of every little thing that is supposed to bestow happiness on them and in turn blindfolds them at the brighter side of life. This is where Unpack Joy, a Jodhpur based non profit organisation comes to the scene, pledging to discontinue the cycle of poverty and to take as many underprivileged children as possible on a journey from penury to pleasure.
To sprinkle joy in the life of Underprivileged Children
Driven by the precept of uplifting the life of the underprivileged children in and around Jodhpur and gradually expanding the service to regions across the nation, we strive to address issues related to children, distributed over a wide spectrum.
Our prime objectives include:
Providing basic education to the poor children with a special focus on increasing the female literacy rate.
Manifesting children’s skills and creativity through activities like art and craft, games etc.
Exposing them to the idea of basic manners and the importance of sanitation.
Felicitating meritorious students, offering assistance to the students who lag behind and encouraging school drop-outs to resume education.
Distributing toys, clothes, footwear and other essentials.
Improvising the state of government schools, especially redesigning classrooms and washrooms.
Facilitating regular health check-ups and provide medical assistance to the street children
Spreading awareness about pandemics and helping them to tide over the difficult times.
To give the poor children a chance to live and not just survive
Through regular and sincere efforts, we wish to leave no stone unturned in slackening the grip of poverty on the lives of the underprivileged children we come across.
Our vision is to work towards the holistic development of the underprivileged children and make sure that deprivation doesn’t rob the care and comfort they deserve.
